Sunday brunch just got a little more soulful.
Waypoint Seafood and Grill is pleased to announce the launch of its Jazz Brunch Series on the first Sunday of each month, beginning in April and continuing this Sunday, May 3.
The series features Good Shot Judy, a Virginia-based jazz trio whose influence spans classics from 80 years ago to modern day jazz pop. The trio consists of Brett Cahoon on piano and vocals, Mike Smith on the drums and Jeff Cahoon on the bass.
Good Shot Judy will perform at Waypoint May 3, June 7, July 5 and Aug. 2 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Waypoint menu is a celebration of Chesapeake ingredients and includes items grown at local farms and caught in regional waters, and the brunch menu is no different. Peppered with classics, lunch plates and Chesapeake-inspired favorites, the brunch menu is filled with culinary favorites made by Waypoint’s two premier chefs – esteemed Chef and Restaurateur, Hans J. Schadler, CEC, AAC, and Executive Chef, Kyle Woodruff.
